Louise has been with the practice since May 2004. She is based full time at Somerford Park equine clinic as head Equine Veterinary Nurse. Louise has her own horse, Ed.
Louise passed her EVN exams in 2007. She is also responsible for running Somerford Park, including care of our in patients, assisting vets with lameness work ups and medical cases. Louise is also an AMTRA qualified Equine SQP. Louise also owns a cocker spaniel, Jasper.
Louise has been with the practice since 1995 and is now Equine Operations Manager. She is responsible for overseeing equine initiatives such as client evenings, liasing with drug company reps, client enquiries and the smooth running of the practice.
Louise is a qualified Equine and small animal nurse and is also a qualified Amtra animal health advisor. She divides her time between nursing care and management issues at Somerford Park. Louise has a son Oliver and spends her spare time skiing, camping and walking. She has a black Labrador called Dennis. (He's a menace)!
Kayleigh joined the practice in April 2010 as an equine nurse trainee . She has a FdSc in Equine studies from Harpur Adams. She is responsible for in-patient care and assisting the vets in the clinic. Kayleigh has 2 horses Polly and Elsa and a beagle cross called Ric. She has a little girl, Ella and in her spare time enjoys riding & spending time with her family.
Kayleigh is a qualified sports massage therapist and works very closely with our vets and local physiotherapists on rehabilitation of our patients. Kayleigh performs assessments and massage treatments both at the clinic and out on your yard.
Vicky joined us as our nursing assistant in 2014 and is currently training to be a Equine Veterinary Nurse. She lives in Weston and had previously worked as an equine groom. She has a Jack Russell Terrier called Bean, who frequently appears on our Facebook page, and a horse called Derby, who she rides regularly.
Georgia joined us in 2015 as our Equine Nursing Assistant based at our Somerford Park Clinic. She is responsible for in-patient care and assisting the vets and nurses with a wide variety of procedures during her working day. Georgia has worked around horses all her life, and is currently riding her horse, Thumper.
