Louise has been with the practice since May 2004. She is based part time Monday - Thursday at Somerford Park equine clinic as head Equine Veterinary Nurse. Louise has her own horse, Ed.
Louise passed her EVN exams in 2007. She is also responsible for running Somerford Park, managing the nursing team, assisting vets with lameness work ups and medical cases. Louise is also an AMTRA qualified Equine SQP. Louise lives in Congleton, owns a cocker spaniel, Jasper, and has a little girl Elsie.
Louise has been with the practice since 1995 and is now Equine Operations Manager. She is responsible for overseeing equine initiatives such as client evenings, liasing with drug company reps, client enquiries and the smooth running of the practice.
Louise is a qualified Equine and small animal nurse and is also a qualified Amtra animal health advisor. She divides her time between nursing care and management issues at Somerford Park. Louise has a son Oliver and spends her spare time skiing, camping and walking. She has a black Labrador called Dennis. (He's a menace)!
Kayleigh joined the practice in April 2010. She currently works part time based at Somerford Equine Clinic performing a variety of nursing duties. She is particularly interested in lameness and the musculoskeletal system.
Kayleigh is a qualified and registered Equine Veterinary Nurse as well as a RAMP registered Equine Physiotherapist and Sports Massage Therapist.
Kayleigh has 2 daughters and spends her spare time with her family and away at riding competitions with her eldest daughter
Gemma joined the practice in 2016 as a groom/nursing assistant, she has worked around horses all her life on competition yards. She is responsible for inpatient care and assisting the vets with procedures in the clinic.
She lives in Holmes Chapel with her partner, young son Dylan and Irish Blue Terrier, Diesel.
Hannah joined the practice in August 2017 as a groom/nursing assistant. She graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Equine Science from Harper Adams in 2017.
She helps with taking care of the inpatients and assisting the vets and nurses with various procedures.
In her spare time Hannah enjoys socialising with her friends and lives in Macclesfield.
