Lisa graduated from the University of Cambridge with a degree in Natural Sciences before going on to complete her veterinary degree at the University of Bristol, graduating in 2010 with distinction. Her first job was in a mixed practice on the edge of the Peak District where she enjoyed working with a variety of animals from cats, dogs, cows and sheep to reindeer and Llamas on the odd occasion.
In 2015 she decided to focus on her work with small animals and started a job "a little south of Sheffield" where she developed her skills in small animal surgery and continued to gain experience with a variety of medicine cases.
She joined Wright and Morten in July 2018 and is looking forward to continuing to develop her skills in small animal medicine, working towards completing a postgraduate certificate.
In her free time she enjoys reading, baking and walking the hills of the Peak District with her husband and young labradour, before enjoying a well earned treat at one of the many coffee shops or pubs to choose from!
